We also sell a range of Clayworks Wood Fired Ovens.

Hilldav - a History
Hilldav started life making Pottery Kilns. The first one’s were Top loading but soon the Hilldav Front loading kilns became the main part of the business.
About that time were asked to make an Etching Press. Using traditional bottom roller drive but with modern materials. From there the range of Hilldav presses have expanded to cover all types of use from the home artist, through schools and to the professional print makers.
Hilldav started in a small work shop but as the demand for bigger kilns began to grow we had to find larger premises. We purchased the old Moss Ceramic factory at 108 Oakes Rd, though in those day access was from Old Windsor Rd and set up production. However we soon needed a larger factory to build the larger kilns in and so we made the big brick warehouse that you see to day.
The show room started of at 108 Oakes Rd but due to lack of space we moved it to a shop in Picasso Crescent just across the road. In 1985 due to rent increases we moved back to 108 Oakes rd to the building we still occupy today.
